A local childcare provider says the sector has been ‘hung out to dry’ by the Government.
Paula Donohoe runs Clever Clogs Childcare in Ballyconnell, and says the exclusion of childcare from the programme of antigen testing in primary schools makes no sense considering they share an age range with them.
There was a major outbreak of Covid at Clever Clogs in April but despite this there has been little guidance and support for providers over the last few months.
