McAree Engineering located in Quiglough, Co Monaghan, has won a prestigious award at the 2022 Generation Apprenticeship Employer of the Year Awards.
The company bagged the 'diversity in the workplace' award at a recent ceremony to make the occasion.
McAree Engineering is a one-stop shop for all outsource sheet metal requirements from design and metal processing to fabrication and assembly.
It employs over 160 experienced professionals in north Monaghan and was recognised for its effort to progress diversity in the workplace.
Sean Sherry of McAree Engineering pointed to how the accolade was a "brilliant achievement" for the whole firm.
Meanwhile, seven businesses from around the country were crowned Generation Apprenticeship Employers of the Year by Simon Harris, Minister for Further and Higher Education in the Morrison Hotel, Dublin last Thrsday night.
