A local bike shop owner is reminding cyclists to wear ‘contrasting colours’ when out on the roads.
Today is World Cycling Day, following a year where bike sales have boomed and demand meant many local shop owners had long waiting lists and stock issues.
George Allen from Feel Good Bicycles in Virginia says that demand has remained consistent with many people now choosing mountain bikes in order to be able to cycle around their local forests and nature trails.
