Beef, pork and mushroom farmers in Cavan and Monaghan could be hardest hit by tariffs if a Brexit deal isn’t made.
Macra na Feirme President Thomas Duffy said the Department of Agriculture’s proposed €400 million support in a no-deal scenario is less than half of the potential impact a lack of a trade deal could have on the agriculture sector.

Speaking on The Joe Finnegan Show, Virginia-native Thomas Duffy said local farmers will be badly affected regardless of what happens in negotiations.
