A Co Cavan Beauty Salon owner says she felt a "moral and social responsibility" to implement a covid-vaccine cert policy in her business.
The Cabinet Sub Committee on Covid-19 will meet later to consider how to tackle the rising covid cases.
The wider use of vaccine certs will be one of the topics up for discussion.
Anna Costello owns Utopia Health and Beauty Clinic, based in the Cavan Crystal Hotel.
She says "in the absence of any clear directives from government", she implemented vaccine-cert policy at the beginning of this month.
Anna says the move has been "very positive" and adds that she has gained customers on the back of it.
While Anna acknowledges this may alienate the fewer than 10 percent who aren't vaccinated, she says most customers prefer to be in a salon where others have received the jab:
