A local ASTI member says there are a number of issues to be ironed out regarding the written Leaving Cert exams.
Pat Deery, who is also a retired teacher from Monaghan, says that he welcomes the agreement that has been reached and encourages students to do both options.
However, he also highlights that there are a number of logistical problems that need to be dealt with prior to the written exams.
