A Liverpool superfan from Monaghan has struck a chord with over 20 million people after a video of him getting emotional at Anfield went viral. 12-year-old Daire Gorman from Tonniscoffey is a massive Liverpool FC fan. Last September, he travelled to Anfield when his Liverpool-mad dad, Kenny, took a video of him being overcome with emotion as the crowd belted out the club's anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" from the stands.
When Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp, became aware of the video Daire and his family were invited over to their beloved Anfield to meet him and some of the club's biggest stars. Liverpool FC aired the video on the club's official website on Christmas Day. Sixth class pupil Daire has Cromellin Syndrome which means he is a full-time wheelchair user because he has no arms from the elbow down and missing the femur bones on both legs.

He told the Joe Finnegan Show of the "amazing" treatment he received while a guest of Liverpool FC: "Klopp took me out for about 45 mins and gave me a private tour of the AXA and surprised me with meeting a few players: Diaz, Nunez, Salah. It's amazing what he did for us, for me," Daire said.
