The PSNI enquiry office in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh will permanently close tomorrow. According to PSNI this is not a station closure, while police officers and staff are to remain on-site and continue to serve the community. The nearest enquiry office for people of that area will now be at Enniskillen station.
The Lisnaskea enquiry office will join ten others from across the North who have been forced to close its doors. The closures are due to the current financial and resource pressures facing the PSNI, the decision was taken to reduce the number of police station enquiry offices from 28 to 17. According to PSNI, these are not station closures and each of the police stations affected will remain operational.
