Police are looking at possible links between recent alcohol thefts in Lisnaskea and Newtownbutler. On Sunday, police received two reports about thefts from premises on Main Street and Moorlough Road in Lisnaskea. Police also received a report of a theft of alcohol from a premises on Bridge Street, Newtownbutler on the same day.
"On each occasion bottles of alcohol were stolen by the suspects from the shops," PSNI Inspector Knipe said. The men police are looking for approached the premises in a grey-coloured vehicle and are described as being in their 40s. One of the men was wearing a black coat, blue jeans, black trainers and had black hair. The second man is bald with a beard and was was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and green trainer.
"The same suspects may also be linked to other recent thefts in the area, and enquiries are continuing," Inspector Knipe said. Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in any of the areas between 4 and 5pm on Sunday last and noticed the men who match these descriptions.
