Several library branches across Monaghan and the Johnson Central Library in Cavan will re-open on Monday for browsing and borrowing.
In the Monaghan branches, limited internet access and printing will be available
On the 29th June, the Clones, Carrickmacross, and Monaghan Town Library branches will open to the public for browsing in the afternoons.
Anti-viral wipes will be available to clean computers and self-service units before and after use.
During this initial stage of re-opening, the branches will be open from Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 5pm, and will also open from 6pm to 8 pm on Monday evenings.
'Contact and Collect' will still be available for those wishing to avail of library items without the need to come inside the branch.
Meanwhile, the Johnson Central Library will also re-open on Monday for browsing and borrowing only, and it is hoped other services will be reintroduced in the coming days.
It’ll open from 10am to 5 pm, closing for lunch between 1 and 2 pm.
It will also offer late opening to 8.30 pm on Tuesdays, with Saturday opening beginning from July 4th.
