Liam McCaffrey has announced his retirement from Mannok.
Staff at Mannok were informed of the CEO's decision to retire today. Dara O'Reilly will now take over as CEO with Mr. McCaffrey moving to a non-executive director role on the company's Board of Directors. The move will still mean his involvement in the Ballyconnell business, however, as most non-executive directors act as independent advisors and receive a salary. Brenda Rennick will now become Mannok Chief Financial Officer.
Liam McCaffrey is listed by HMRC in the UK as an active director of the Mannok Cement, Build, Insulation, Aggregates and Pack divisions. He is also an active director of a flooring business, joinery company and QBRC, the company originally set up by former managers and business associates of Sean Quinn to buy back parts of his business.
