A Carrickmacross Councillor says there must be "a level playing field" for local companies when applying government contracts.
PJ O'Hanlon told a recent Carrickmacross-Castleblayney MD meeting that too many Northern companies are getting work on government contracts.
He said preference should be given to Irish companies along the border, be that in Cavan or Monaghan.
Councillor O'Hanlon added that clarity is needed on what impact a "No-Deal" Brexit would have on local companies when competing for a government contract.
