Leo Varadkar is to stand down as Taoiseach and leader of Fine Gael. He's due to make an announcement at Government Buildings from midday. The press conference will be brought to you LIVE by Northern Sound from 12 midday.
Mr Varadkar assumed the office of Taoiseach in June of 2017. He has been a Fine Gael TD for the Dublin West constituency since 2007.
