A 20 year lease agreement between Monaghan County Council and Castleblayney Community Enterprise has been confirmed for 'The Ridge' Enterprise Centre on McGrath Road, Drumillard, Castleblayney.
The consideration proposed in respect of the disposal is €19,722. According to Acting Director of Services Carmel O'Hare, keys have been handed over and the tenants are due to be moving in shortly.
Speaking in relation to the announcement, Cllr PJ O'Hanlon said the development is in 'prestige condition' adding that the developer employed local people and that it was only fitting it comes before the council before it is taken in charge.
Adding his thanks, Cllr Colm Carthy also commended developers on this project for getting the work done in time for it to go to charge.
