The 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19 across the six LEAs in the Northern Sound region is below the national average.
In the two-week period, up to March 15th, the national incidence rate was 148 per 100,000.
The Bailieborough-Cootehill LEA has the lowest 14-day incidence rate across the Northern Sound region, at 33 per 100,000.
This is followed by the Ballybay-Clones LEA, which has an incidence rate of 35, while the Ballyjamesduff LEA has an incidence rate of 62.
The remaining three LEAs have incidence rates above, or close to, 100.
The rate in the Monaghan LEA is 97, while the incidence rate in Carrickmacross-Castleblayney is slightly above 100, with a rate of 103 per 100,000.
Across the region, the incidence rate is at its highest in Cavan-Belturbet, at 116.
Over the two week period, ending March 15th, there were 54 new cases confirmed across Cavan, and 50 in Monaghan.
