Legendary musician Frankie McDonald will launch his new book 'A Million Miles Of Music' in Monaghan next Monday evening.
The event will take place at 6.30pm in Clones Library, while some books will also be available in 'Matthew's' on the diamond.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Frankie who is originally from Clones but now resides in Athlone revealed that the book is influenced by his experiences and memories of growing up and being in the music business.
Since the 1960s, Frankie has been a major part of the Drifters band and is the last survivor of the Showband era of that decade.
Speaking on that, the talented musician said joining the Drifters all those years ago was a "monumental step" in his career, which took him all over the world.
