Latton O'Rahilly's GAA club has been awarded at a ceremony in Croke Park for their outstanding work in promoting the Irish language.
The Monaghan club was awarded a bronze medal for their Irish language work. Latton was one of 22 Ulster clubs presented with an award at the annual Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha at Croke Park on Friday.
The programme is a collaboration between Glór na nGael and the GAA with this year's awards being the biggest to date. The event not only acknowledges individual club achievements but also reinforces the importance of preserving and promoting the Irish language
through sport.
