Cavan and Monaghan have the second and third highest incidence rates of Covid-19 in the country.
The latest figures from the HPSC show Cavan has a rate of 338.7 - second only to Donegal. Cavan has seen its 14-day incidence rate double in the past two days.
Monaghan's 14-day rate stands at 319.3 per 100,000.
The two counties which have been on Level 3 for a number of weeks Dublin and Donegal have seen sustained rises, while Carlow now has the lowest rate in the country.
The national total now stands at 158.5 - a 38 per cent rise on last week's figure.
