The debating team from Largy have reached the final of the national, all-Ireland Concern Schools debating competition which takes places tomorrow evening.
They will compete against The High School in Rathgar tomorrow evening in The Helix in Dublin.
Well-known past participants of the contest include Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe, RTÉ broadcaster Claire Byrne and Virgin Media presenter Karen Koster.
The motion up for debate is, "For the Global South, the International Community is a Mirage." The Largy team will be opposing the motion.
Amy-Jo Kierans and Katie McCaffery from Aghabog, Aoibheann McLoughlin from Clones and Deirdre Smith from Newbliss and the rest of the research team will represent the region in tomorrow's final.
Katie McCaffery says excitement is building ahead of the final and she is looking forward to seeing lots of pupils from the school coming along to support the team.
