A large number of people attended the launch of the Enough is Enough; campaign calling for an upgrade to the A5.
The new campaign was launched in support of the A5 road project at a public event last night at the Tyrone GAA Centre in Garvaghey.
The ‘A5 Enough is Enough’ group was set up by the Tyrone GAA County Committee in November last year.
Families who have lost loved ones on the road were in attendance along with local representatives on both sides of the border.
Kevin Hughes from Killeeshil spoke at the launch telling the big numbers that gathered about the loss of both his brother and sister in a fatal collision on the stretch of road.
He said the A5 upgrade can’t be delayed any longer!
