Lakeland Dairies has launched a student bursary programme aimed at supporting students undertaking an undergraduate or higher-level degree.
The new award scheme entitled entitled "Pathway to a Better Future' will see six annual bursaries for students undertaking courses related to the business of the Co-op's operations such as agricultural science, dairy science and engineering.
Each awardee will receive a bursary of €2,000. The bursaries are available to the children of Lakeland Dairies' 3,200 farm families as well as the co-op staff. Applications should be submitted to: [email protected]. The closing date for applications 30th September 2024.
