Remote working arrangements are also playing a factor in increasing house prices across the region.

A three-bed semi-detached house in Monaghan now costs €232,000.
That's according to the latest Real Estate Alliance report for Quarter 3 that was released earlier this week.
Carrickmacross based auctioneer, Dermot Conlon believes remote working arrangements are playing a factor in increasing house prices across the region.

The report also found the average price of a three-bed semi in Cavan is €187,500.
Dermot Conlon of REA Gunne Property in Carrickmacross, says counties like Cavan and Monaghan are very popular for a number of reasons.
He says the lack of supply is contributing to a continued increase in the amounts being paid in the region.
