SIPTU members at the Kyte Powertech will return to the picket line later this week.
Hundreds of employees from the Cavan manufacturing plant gathered last week in an industrial campaign over pay.
However, strike action came to a halt last Friday, following the death of Kyte Powertech worker, Frank Nulty, who was tragically killed in a hit and run incident just minutes from his home.
As a result, strike action will resume once again this Friday, August 26th.
Previously speaking to Northern Sound, SIPTU Organiser, Martin O'Rourke, said members have reluctantly voted in favour of the 24-hour stoppage after pursuing every other avenue open to them in their efforts to secure a pay increase.
"No union, or company in fact, is a monolith so different approaches are tried in different locations," he continued.
