Kneecap has come away with a nod at the British Academy Film and Television Awards in London. The film was among a number of Irish interests nominated.
Alex Rowley has more: "Rich Peppiatt came away with Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer last night for his role directing KNEECAP.
He told reporters that it was a hectic year hanging out with the Belfast Rap Trio:
The biopic missed out on other awards it was up for. Saoirse Ronan also missed out on Leading Actress for her role in the Outrun and no awards for Irish produced film The Apprentice. Conclave and The Brutalist led the awards with four wins each.
