Kingspan has raised over €72,000 for the Irish Hospice Foundation.
A team of 9 from Kingscourt were due to travel to Italy this week to take on a 550 kilometre cycling challenge for the charity.
With the event unable to go ahead due to Covid-19, the team continued their fundraising efforts at home.
The money raised will be used by the Hospice’s ‘Nurses for Night Care’, which is a national service providing free nursing care to families affected by non-cancer illnesses.
Kingspan’s Chief Executive, Gene Murtagh, said he was delighted to be associated with the amazing work of the Irish Hospice Foundation.
Meanwhile, Sharon Foley, Chief Executive of the national charity, said that the money raised will allow more people to spend their precious final moments together.
