There are angry residents and angry farmers on the Corlea Road in Kingscourt this week.
That is according to Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Cllr Clifford Kelly.
He told those gathered at the monthly meeting on Monday that the anger is over the way in which works are being carried out on the road.
Cllr Kelly said there was no consultation process with residents in the first instance.
And, as a result of that, there was now no co-operation from them.
The meeting heard it was a pity what had happened and the people living there should have been treated with more respect.
