A Cavan man has been recognised with a "Respect and Integrity" award for his outstanding work with St. James' Hospital, Dublin. Paul Woods from Kingscourt received his award at the annual ABM Growth and Acceleration conference in London recently.
The awards recognise the high-quality work and achievements of ABM's approximately 12,500 employees across the UK and Ireland every year. ABM specialises in providing customised facilities solutions to clients in the healthcare and other sectors.
As the ABM Site Manager at St James's Hospital in Dublin, Paul has managed numerous social and environmental initiatives, including the recent revitalisation of the courtyards at St James's Hospital. He was also instrumental in the 'End of Life Committee', where he supports cleaning operatives by providing training to help families during difficult times.
