Tommy Shannon from Killeshandra has put some of his prized vintage machinery up for auction this week. The event is taking place today and tomorrow at McShane's in Cornafean.
The Cavan man has been collecting his wares for the last seven decades and boasts some of the most unusual implements and devices in the country.
Tommy's personal favourite is a single cylinder tractor that was manufactured in 1947. He says he has had a fascination with machinery ever since he was "a young fella going to school".
"There has been viewings for the last four days and hundreds of people from all over the country have viewed the machinery.
"There is around 1,750 items and people are welcome to come - along as they have lots of money!"
