Funeral Mass for Killeevan man Dion Conlon who died on Monday just days after a fundraiser was launched to treat his lung cancer, will take place on Sunday.
Tributes have been paid to the Monaghan man with Killeevan Sarsfields GAA describing him as a happy, positive person.
In early August, 25-year old Dion was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma - a rare form of lung cancer not usually found in young people.
He will be laid to rest in the local cemetery following Funeral Mass at 3pm on Sunday in St Laobhin's Chapel, Killeevan,
Dion is survived by his parents Brian and Alison; brother, Jordan; and sister, Chelsea.
