The jury in the Aaron Brady murder trial will resume its deliberations today after finding him guilty yesterday of taking part in an armed robbery in Co Louth in January 2013.
The 29-year-old, from Crossmaglen, Co. Armagh, denied being involved, and also claims he had nothing to do with the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe, who was shot dead during the robbery.
Aaron Brady denies the charge of capital murder, claiming he was engaged in illegal diesel laundering at the time.
The jury have four verdicts open to them when they return this morning. Guilty of capital murder, guilty of murder, guilty of manslaughter, or not guilty.
