The Minister of State with responsibility for Farm Safety has warned that "everything can change in a split second" when working on the farm.
It's Farm Safety Week across Ireland and the UK and Martin Heydon says it's a really important week because farms "continue to be the most dangerous workplace in the country".
He's urged farmers to take time before every job to consider the risks involved.
The Junior Minister says farming can be a solitary profession and has become even more isolating for some due to the covid-restrictions.
