Junior Education minister Josepha Madigan is visiting Carrickmacross today.
The Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion will attend Inver College between 1pm and 3pm.
There, she will officially open an Autism class with john Kearney, CEO of the National Council for Special Education.
The Minister has committed to the provision of special education in mainstream schools after she appeared before an Oireachtas committee meeting on Autism in July.
She says she will also endeavour to increase the number of suitably qualified teachers required in special education provision.
