The three judges hearing the trial of the men accused of abducting and assaulting Kevin Lunney will now deliberate the evidence they heard over the past 40 days.
Closing arguments in the case concluded on Friday, and a verdict is expected on October 22nd.
The four men before the non-jury court have all pleaded not guilty to false imprisonment and intentionally causing serious harm to QIH Director Mr Lunney at Drumbrade, Ballinagh, Co Cavan on September 17, 2019.
