Jack and Emily most popular names of 2022

Jack was the most popular boys name in 2022 for the sixth year in a row.

Emily took the top spot for girls names for the first time since 2019, after being number one since 2011. According to the CSO, the most popular baby surname was Murphy.

Other first names that came into the top five were Noah, Charlie, Grace and Fiadh.
