It's time to face up to the drugs problem in the region and stop assuming it's someone else's problem.
That's the message from the project co-ordinator at Teach na Daoine in Monaghan in response to calls for a Citizen's Assembly on Drugs to be established.
Packie Kelly says that we need to start providing people of all ages with the education and ability to make informed decisions around drugs.
He also says that while there is hope and the idea of an assembly is positive society has to be ready for this hard conversation:
