A local representative for the Green Party has highlighted the issues surrounding local bus services across Monaghan with Minister Eamon Ryan.
Green Party Candidate in Carrickmacross-Castleblayney, Tate Donnelly, met with the Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan, in Castleblayney in recent days.
Mr Donnelly used the opportunity to raise issues with the current level of public transport service on offer and improvements that are needed in the area.
He highlighted the current 32 service which is often full by the time it gets to Blayney, it is rarely on time, and it is not nearly frequent enough, adding that people are continuously let down. Minister Eamon Ryan assured Tate Donnelly that there would be improvements coming to the services in Castleblayney. The local Green Party Candidate says that that lots of local people have been in touch with him in relation to public transport in the area.
