The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is launching an emergency appeal for funds.
Its because of a rising rate of animal cruelty cases.
Funding is needed for safe shelter, medical care and the rehabilitation of injured animals.

Dr. Cyril Sullivan, CEO of the ISPCA, says its existing resources are stretched to their limit.
The charity is running out of accommodation will kennels full and they have had to rent private kennels across the country, Dr Sullivan said they have been left with no choice but to make this appeal for emergency funds.
