Deputy Smith says that IWA has recently undertaken a recruitment campaign to fill its vacant positions, in Cavan especially.

Earlier this month, the IWA announced it has had to move to an "outreach model" with the day centre not accepting clients face-to-face.

Due to current staffing levels and resources available, the IWA is unable to provide an 'in-person' service in the Cavan centre.

That's according to its co-ordinator, Ruth Fox, who met with local public representatives in the Dail this week to discuss the matter further.
