The founder of the Irish Wedding Band Association has called on the Taoiseach to give a date for their return.
Failte Ireland's guidelines for reopening hospitality stated there should be no live or loud music played in pubs and restaurants.
Cathal Malloy, who is also a member of the wedding band "Pink Champagne", says while he was expecting these guidelines to be in place, he was hopeful of a date that the sector could work towards.
Cathal told today's "Wider View" that the restrictions in the Republic are causing couples to re-book their wedding day in the North, and hospitality venues along the border are suffering as a result:
