Cavan experienced water outages just yesterday.

Customers may experience temporary, intermittent low pressure or water outages in Cavan Town.

The works will take place along the R187 Carrickmacross Road.

Irish Water is encouraging people to conserve water as the weather gets warmer.

Meanwhile, mains rehabilitation works on the Clones Road section in Newbliss are progressing and due for completion by the end of May.

While it does not pose a threat to public health, Irish Water says it is "still undesirable in drinking water".

The Planners Report says the “upgrades are essential to tackle current operational deficiencies”.

It's recommended customers allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
