Local people made 167 complaints to Irish Water since the start of 2020.
Figures released to Northern Sound News under the Freedom of Information Act shows over two thirds were from Cavan.
Of the 167 complaints made locally last year, 113 or 67 per cent, were made by people living in Cavan.
Blockages were the most common complaint there with 19, 16 for water quality and 12 for both malodour and no water.
There were ten or fewer complaints about billing, leakages, low pressure and compensation.
Blockages were again most common in Monaghan, making up 14 of the 54 complaints made since 2020.
nine complaints were about billing, five for malodour and four for no water, leakages and low pressure.
Less common complaints were for faulty water meters, new connections, the timeframe for jobs and contact methods.
In response to these figures, Irish Water said it is committed to providing the highest standard of water services by protecting, maintaining and improving Ireland's water and wastewater services.
A spokesperson added that irrespective of the form of communication used, it will always listen to the feedback received.
