Irish water plans to complete pipe replacement works in Castleblayney in the later part of Quarter 3 this year.
Local councillor Aidan Campbell raised concerns over the unfinished works following the upgrading of the old lead pipes in the centre of the town stating the leaking pipes are still causing a problem.
These works will be completed as part of the Leakage Reduction Programme, hopefully commencing in late Q3 2021 with a 4-5 week construction period.
