Irish Water customers in Clones and the surrounding areas will experience a water outage on Tuesday of next week.
The planned outage is required to progress essential works at the reservoir at Clones Water Treatment Plant.
Irish Water says these works will "improve monitoring of the water supply to homes and businesses" in the area.
The water outage is scheduled to take place from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday, March 30th, and customers in Clones town, Scotshouse village, and Drumully will experience a water outage during these hours.
Irish Water also advises that it may take a number of hours for a normal water supply to return to affected customers following the completion of the works.
Irish Water and Monaghan County Council have thanked customers for their patience while these essential works are carried out.
