The Irish Coast Guard assisted in the rescue of a person on Cuilcagh Mountain yesterday.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service were among the first responders to the casualty but alerted helicopter rescue crews as they were situated in an inaccessible location along the Cavan-Fermanagh border.
Support was co-ordinated by Malin Coast Guard, and the Sligo-based Rescue 118 helicopter was deployed to the scene.
A spokesperson says the person was successfully evacuated from the scene and transferred to Sligo University Hospital for treatment.
