Ireland's first Toy Library has been launched in Carrickmacross.
The not-for-profit initiative was set up by a group of local volunteers with the aim of providing toys without increasing waste.
For a membership fee parents can borrow up to four toys for up to three weeks at a time and then return them for others to borrow.
The group says it's seen great interest from across the country since it first began two weeks ago.
One of the founders Jill Kennon says the Toy Library will help save parents money as they won't be buying toys that their children will quickly outgrow or lose interest in.
