Ireland and Apple have won an appeal against the European Commission's €13 billion tax ruling.
The General Court of the European Union annulled a previous decision by the Commission that Ireland gave Apple a special tax deal.

It says the Commission did not prove its case to the required legal standard.
The Department of Finance is welcoming the decision.
The European Commission is expected to appeal the ruling.
