Ireland has won a gold medal overnight at the Tokyo Olympics in the double lightweight sculls final.
Skibbereen pair Fintan McCarthy and Paul O'Donovan cross the line ahead of the crews from Germany and Italy, who finished on the podium.
It's the first gold medal the country has ever won in rowing, and follows the bronze won by the Women's Four team yesterday.
