Another invite has been extended to the Transport Minister to visit Co Monaghan to view the "terrible condition of many of the roads".
Seamus Coyle extended an invite to Eamon Ryan at April's County Council meeting, and at the May meeting, he re-issued this invitation.
While Councillor Coyle welcomed recent LIS roads funding for Monaghan, he added that the "local roads are at their worst state in a very long time".
He also claimed it would take 20 years to get caught up with the LIS list.
Meanwhile, Councillor Noel Keelan said taxpayers in Monaghan are "not getting the service they deserve" and said Minister Ryan was "out of touch with rural issues".
