Local man Sean O Raghallaigh is calling on government to prioritise Co Cavan and to "not leave it behind." The young Co Cavan man has been left without power for the last six days as a result of Storm Eowyn.
According to Mr O Raghallaigh, infrastructure and public services are "not at the level they should be at" and that's why communities have had to pull together. Speaking to Northern Sound, the Co Cavan man says communities, like his own in Castlerahan, are "pulling together out of necessity" due to a lack of support from government. He added that investment does not match the population and needs of the people in Co Cavan, and has called for the Breffni County to "not be left behind."
