Examinations are continuing in County Monaghan today following the discovery of a body yesterday.
Gardaí were alerted to the body at about 10 to 8 yesterday morning outside Monaghan town. Investigations are continuing to determine whether a head injury he suffered was the result of a fall or foul play.
It's understood the man has been identified, but his name is not being released until family are informed.
